Want to copy the VW Kombi-powered surf, ride and lifestyle adventure that photographer Camilla Rutherford embarked on with three good mates? Of course, you do. Here's what you can expect.

From golden beaches to misty rainforests, Camilla, together with Casey Brown, Traharn Chidly and Mike Hopkins, explored the beaches of The Coromandel by bike, surfboard and lazy afternoon campfires, before heading inland to some of the amazing backcountry trails of the Central North Island.
This itinerary is one part lifestyle, one part adventure and a whole heap of exploration.
Warning: Some of the trails featured in this itinerary are not for the faint-hearted. The Te Iringa Track is a challenging Grade 5 trail with loads of hike-a-bike and requires a good level of fitness. It also requires an overnight stay in a classic Doc hut – you'll need to be prepared, but if you are you're in for a whole lot of fun.
